Distance Studies :: This site is dedicated to providing comprehensive information on distance education programs in Canada and the US, including in-depth information on program curricula, faculty, admissions, and financial assistance.

Workinfonet (WIN) :: This site is a virtual library on careers, training and employment. Links are presented under 3 headings: career planning, learning and employment.

Work Search :: A resource designed to guide Canadians through all aspects of the work search process. People looking for work, youth planning their careers, adults re-entering the workforce, and employed persons contemplating a career or work change can benefit from Work Search.

NSCC Part time and Distance Education :: This site offers complete course listings for part time and distance learning opportunities at a Nova Scotia Community College near you.

New Approaches to Lifelong Learning (NALL) :: NALL's basic objectives are to document current relations between informal learning and formal/nonformal education, identify major social barriers to integrating informal learning with formal/nonformal programs and certification, and support new program initiatives that promise to overcome such barriers.

Prior Learning Assessment Centre :: To date, the PLA Centre has trained and awarded Practitioner Certificates to almost 150 individuals across Nova Scotia. These PLAR Practitioners are a lifelong learning development network of great expertise, commitment and potential.
