	Community Links (NS) :: Community Links is a provincial association of 177 community organizations building healthy communities and enhancing the quality of life for seniors and others in rural Nova Scotia through community development and volunteer action.
	Earthwatch Institute :: The Earthwatch Institute is a non-profit organization that engages people worldwide in scientific field research and education to promote the understanding and action necessary for a sustainable environment. It helps ordinary people volunteer on research projects.
	Global Volunteers :: Global Volunteers has mobilized more than 13,500 volunteers on community development projects worldwide since 1984 - touching hearts and changing lives in 19 countries.
	Habitat for Humanity :: Habitat for Humanity International's Global Village trips give participants a unique opportunity to become active partners with people of another culture. Team members work alongside members of the host community, raising awareness of the burden of poverty housing and building decent, affordable housing worldwide.
	Idealist.org - Action Without Borders :: Gain valuable experience and learn something - by volunteering! Idealist, a project of Action without Borders, is a global clearinghouse of nonprofit and volunteering resources offering a comprehensive directory of volunteer opportunities. It provides information and links to 20,000 nonprofit and community organizations in 140 countries.
	Charity Village :: Charity Village is Canada's supersite for the non-profit sector with 3,000 pages of news, jobs, information and resources for executives, staffers, donors, and volunteers. If philanthropy and volunteerism are part of your world, this is your place.
	Nature Watch :: Find out about collecting valuable data for community-based monitoring programs.
	Nova Scotia Network :: Canada Volunteerism Initiative: Nova Scotia Network -The purpose of this site is to strengthen volunteerism in Nova Scotia through information, awareness, capacity building and research.
	Volunteer Canada :: On Canada's site for information on volunteering, find out about: events, training, volunteering, working with volunteers, tools, research and so on.
	i to i :: If you want to make an impact, i-to-i gives you a supported travel experience that's deeper, more satisfying and best of all, helpful. 	Volunteer Abroad :: Volunteer Abroad, based in Kingston, ON, can arrange for you to join projects that focus on health, teaching, community work, building, or conservation. Most programs are a minimum of four weeks and the average age of participants is 24.
