We work closely with business and community groups to provide clients with up-to-date information on new businesses, jobs, and the current employment outlook for Annapolis County. |

Service NavigationOur Service Navigator is available at the Worx Site to help with all areas of job search and the preparation needed to be successful in your job search. The Service Navigator is available to help clients who need assistance with online job searches, preparation for interview, resume creation and updates, cover letter preparation, using email and fax to apply for jobs and photocopying and telephone are available for job searchers. The front end of the Worx Site has computers available for job searchers and also a host of other services to support those in search of work. Employment CounsellingOur trained Employment Counsellor can assist you In the development of your "Return-to-Work Action Plan". You may be eligible for funding programs that are offered through Employment Nova Scotia which include initiatives that can assist you with furthering your education, self- employment, or securing employment through a targeted wage subsidy or a job creation partnership. Jump Start to TradesWe offer an 18 week job-readiness program including: hands on work experience in construction trades First Aid and WHMIS training job shadowing with local employers workshops on self esteem, positive attitude, conflict resolution, etc. workshops on résumés, cover letters and interviewing skills academic upgrading Space is limited and eligibility criteria may apply.
