Train I Goals

During Train I, participants undertake a personal project of their choosing to learn the following:

• Improve measuring skills
• Plan a project
• Estimate material quantities
• Estimate project cost
• Improve hand-tool use
• Improve power-tool use
• Learn to do all of the above safely

Train II Goals

During Train II, participants use the skills learned in Train I to:

• Enhance their skills
• Improve quality
• Satisfy outside client requests

Participants in the Shop program practice their skills.
